As owner operators, we have a vested interest in making your time on Pacific Wave as good as we possibly can. Whether you want to relax all day in a sheltered bay with a traditional rum punch (see recipe below!), or enjoy a delicious meal under the stars after sailing a real sail boat all afternoon, Pacific Wave will never disappoint.
Recent refits have kept Pacific Wave “as new”, with reliable and up-to-date systems including new engines, sails, AV & comms, & safety equipment, as well as luxurious Egyptian cotton linens and towels, new mattresses, and Molton Brown toiletries.
Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) Commercially Coded
Pacific Wave is a fully licensed and insured commercial vessel for yacht charter purposes. The Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) is the United Kingdom’s governing body for the regulation of commercial ships and their crew. Issuing licenses after inspection for safety and crew qualifications, it is the equivalent in the United States to US Coastguard certified vessels. Pacific Wave is fully Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) coded and is inspected annually by an independent MCA surveyor to ensure the highest safety standards onboard. As owner operators we chose to license Pacific Wave in this manner, even though it is more costly and onerous to us. We know that by undertaking this commitment with the MCA we are doing all that we can to ensure your safety onboard our vessel.
